APRIL BOOK CLUB SHARES

First and Second formers who were interested in discovering where some animals in the wild live, read the book Where Are The Animals.
After that, they created their own new version of I SPY series; a chance to spot lots of creatures they hid behind a number of elements.
I SPY... a lizard behind a dish!  It's under newspaper sheets!
We had fun trying to find little animals...
Try taking a peep!

AWESOME CHOICE!

Thank you Milagros F. and Viole M!

Third and Fourth formers who felt like  getting to know what pigs live like and what goes on in the interior of these pigs' homes, read the story ¨Three Pigs. They didn't find much about their living styles, so, they recreated what their homes would be like.
If that don't beat a pig a-pecking!

These students know very well what they like and what they don't, just like the three brother pigs do. See what they reported!!

Agustina Maggio would like to live with her sister when she grows up because they share a lot nowadays. About pigs... she eats pork ribs. And she wouldn't like to have a pig as a pet at home because she believes that there's no enough room for it in her garden for it to be happy.

Olivia Scandizo  stated that her sister Malena fights against her a lot, so  in the future she would like to live by herself, on her own, all alone! She would like to invite her friends to play games. Her favourite one: ONE. She eats no pork at all. She wouldn't like to have a pig at home because it would poo too much!

Mateo Lopez K. would like to have a home for himself in the future because he believes that one day his mum will want him ¨to discover the world, just like the pigs´ mum did. His sis calls him dirty words so she wouldn't be invited to his new home! He wouldn't have a pig at home if he had the chance because he thinks that a pig pees a lot everywhere. Pork for dinner? More please!

Micaela Busceta´s got a brother who doesn´t bother her, so this little one could be a possible flat partner. She eats no pork but she likes eating spicy sausages. She would like to have a pig as a pet at home, but ¨it should be outside, in the garden, even in cold or rainy weather.¨

Victoria López said that her sister Ana quarrels a lot, so she still needs to consider if this good company or not... Eating pig? Yes! Delicious! Having one at home as pet? Yes, but
it should be no other colour but pink!

Would you believe that Birdie's favourite cookies were invented by mistake? Fifth and Sixth nosy formers discovered this as they read the book ¨Sweet Surprises¨. To their  amazement, the recipe they followed at home (not from the book club reading but another source we're sharing too) was just as delicious as it looked in the illustrations.

Mayra Schlimann, Camila  Saucedo and Camila Saucedo said that if she had to choose another invention or a ¨sweet surprise¨they would all pick potato chips. The three of them agreed that the best thing about the inventions they read about is ¨they all occurred accidentally.¨So, thank you Ruth Wakefirld for trying to melt chocolate chips! We're all waiting to try out Dons B's cookies!!!!
